To provide our core group expense tracking service, we store:

• Receipt images that you upload to attach to transactions.

2. Device Permissions

To enable specific features within the App, we request access to certain features on your mobile device:

• Camera Permission: Required to allow you to take real-time photos of receipts or capture a new profile picture.
• Gallery / Photo Library Permission: Required to allow you to select and upload existing images of receipts or profile pictures from your device.

You can grant or revoke these permissions at any time through your device's operating system settings. Declining these permissions may prevent you from using receipt-upload features.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect solely to operate and improve Squarely, including to:

• Create and maintain your user account.
• Synchronize expense data and receipts across your shared groups in real time.
• Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.

4. Data Storage and Security

• Server Storage: All account data, transaction records, and uploaded images are securely sent to and stored on our centralized servers.
• Data Security: We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

5. Third-Party Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties. We do not currently use any third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs inside the App. Your data is only used to facilitate your group expenses.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account or request that we delete your data, please contact us at the email address provided below or use our account deletion form.
